HSSES Self-Report Sample

If you meet the following criteria, we invite you to fill out our Request Training Form:

  • You are an adult health professional or other individual (e.g. teacher, community leader, faith based helper, etc.) working with traumatized children, teens, their families, or their communities.
  • You are an adult health professional or other individual (e.g. teacher, community leader, faith based helper, etc.) working with the prevention of traumatic stress to children, teens, their families, or their communities.
  • You work in or serve people from a rural, frontier or tribal area. Rural is defined as non-metropolitan (e.g. a consolidated block of not more than 50,000 people). Frontier is defined as 7 or fewer people per square mile. Tribal refers to people or places that are associated with federally recognized tribes in the United States, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians.
  • You are willing to use telecommunications/computers/technology when conducting the project.

 

 

Please note that much of the information about assessment and intervention available on this archive is intended for professionals with clinical training. Utilization of such information should be consistent with your areas of licensed or certified expertise. It is strongly recommended that professionals seek additional supervision when incorporating any new assessment or therapeutic techniques if they do not already have appropriate prerequisite training that would enable them to learn about and incorporate such skills independently.
